Object Mobility in Arts
نویسنده
چکیده
Arts is an open object oriented framework that provides customizable runtime services for parallel processing within a global distributed object space. This paper focuses on migration mechanisms which enable dynamic load balancing in this environment. They are designed to eeciently support diierent types of application objects with respect to their data structure and granularity. Performance numbers are given for several migration mechanisms. These mechanisms have been integrated in several applications for computational uid dynamics.

Downregulation of TMEM40 by miR-138-5p suppresses cell proliferation and mobility in clear cell renal cell carcinoma
Background: Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) represents approximately 70% of RCC,as the most frequent histological subtype of RCC. MiR-138-5p, a tumor-related microRNA (miRNA), has been reported to be implicated in the diverse types of human malignancies, but its role in ccRCCremains unclear. Objective: The study was designed to investigate the function...
متن کاملThe Effect of Autogenous Fascia Relaxation and Spinal Mobility Exercise on Pain and Range of Motion in Elderly Female Patients with Chronic Back Pain
Background. Band exercise can also reduce back pain by reducing unnecessary movement of the thoracic and cervical vertebrae adjacent to the lumbar spine. Looking at previous studies, activation of the deep lumbar muscles of the lumbar spine and restoration of mobility of the adjacent skeleton have a positive effect on pain relief. Objectives. This study was to investigate the effects of self-f...
متن کاملInteractive Art Analysis Based on Baudrillard’s Hyper reality Theory, a Case Study of Digital Interactive installation
The contemporary philosopher Jean Baudrillard, one of the postmodernism theorists, considers representation in the contemporary world as a factor in the disappearance of reality. In his view, the main feature of new arts is not the expression of artistic beauty, but communication with the audience and expression of the artist’s ideas. In interactive art, the presence and role of the audience in...
متن کاملHigh-Mobility Group Nucleosome-Binding Protein 1 as Endogenous Ligand Induces Innate Immune Tolerance in a TLR4-Sirtuin-1 Dependent Manner in Human Blood Peripheral Mononuclear Cells
High-mobility group nucleosome-binding protein 1 (HMGN1) functions as a non-histone chromatin-binding protein in the cell nucleus. However, extracellular HMGN1 acts as an endogenous danger-associated inflammatory mediator (also called alarmin). We demonstrated that HMGN1 not only directly stimulated cytokine production but also had the capacity to induce immune tolerance by a TLR4-dependent pat...
متن کامل‘Boundary-crossing careers and the ‘third space of hybridity’: Career actors as knowledge brokers between creative arts and academia’
This article examines how boundary-crossing careers influence creative knowledge combination by looking at a group of creative artists whose careers straddle professional arts and academia. Whereas previous research has treated individuals as vehicles for knowledge transmission across intertwined networks, this study emphasizes their active role as knowledge brokers. It examines how work role t...
